Stormy Weather
The wind howled
It blew tumbleweed across the road
And it came right at my car.
There was no time to stop and I hit it.
It exploded and tiny branches went everywhere
It disappeared and broke into pieces
I imagined my grief as that tumbleweed
Rolling around in my life during the year
Then the holidays come
Bringing the day you died [...]

I watch the clouds as they sit on the mountains
I know snow is falling on the mountain top
As I sip coffee on my fine Italian sofa in my house
I can see blue patches in the sky
I see some white clouds and lots of gray ones

In a old blue car
She stared straight ahead
Her fingers gripped the steering wheel
Her blond hair curled down her shoulders
Those shoulders tense with fear or anger
The guy beside her was yelling
“Why did you say that?”
“I can’t believe you said that.”
