We are packing up the last of the boxes. No more television for awhile. Luckily, Lost is over for this season, but I will miss Deadliest Catch. I hope to catch (hahaha) up on the episodes I miss when I get to Georgia.
Farewell for now.

So much went on tonight – we met Jacob and the mystery guy. Flashbacks showed us that Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Hurley, Locke, Sayid, Sun and Jin met Jacob at one time in [...]

It hit me last night that I am used to seeing light pots of crabs, but the skippers always manage to find some and everyone is happy. Although the scores are posted, I felt good that they [...]

Stormy Weather
The wind howled
It blew tumbleweed across the road
And it came right at my car.
There was no time to stop and I hit it.
It exploded and tiny branches went everywhere
It disappeared and broke into pieces
I imagined my grief as that tumbleweed
Rolling around in my life during the year
Then the holidays come
Bringing the day you died [...]

I was digging Richard all through Lost. I mean, he appears in the woods all hippie-like to a young Ben. He is Ben’s go-for guy (get Locke’s Dad). He gave Locke Sawyer’s file when the “kill-your-Dad” test happened. He’s [...]

Okay, I’ve seen some buggers in my life, but Monty on the Wizard, was just plain mean this week. The new crew member had posted a picture of his girlfriend over the bait table where he works. Monty repeated put fish guts on the girl’s face and ruined the picture. The new crew member would [...]

Photos: as a kidlet, in Berkely, girls and the cake (2003)
The first birthday I really remember is in second or third grade, my Dad came to school with a cake – it was a surprise and I was everyone’s best friend because we got out of one class and went outside. I remember a yellow [...]

I haven’t written about Tuesday’s Deadliest Catch – it was a sobering hour – riding with the rescue helicopter to the site where the Katmai went down in high seas. The first person found was in a survivor suit, but they found out he [...]
