Okay, I am going to pounce on Daniel’s mother. He should go back in time to get another mother. She sent him back to the island to “heal” his broken mind and oh, did she forget to tell Daniel she was going to shoot him also. And she didn’t even have to – Richard had [...]

I was saddened to hear that Bea Arthur died on Saturday. Bea played Maude on TV in the 70s.
From Wikipedia:
“Maude embraced the tenets of women’s liberation, always voted for Democratic Party candidates, strongly supported legal abortion, and advocated for civil rights and racial and gender equality. However, her overbearing and sometimes domineering personality often got [...]

Tarot card – give me strength in a world of insanity
I just read that Angelina Joile was signed to play Dr. Kay Scarpetta in a series of films based on the books by Patricia Cornwell. NOOOOOOOO – she is NOT who I had pictured for the intellectual doctor of forensic medicine.
Give me a freakin’ break [...]

My favorite television show filmed in New Mexico is back! Well, okay, I don’t care much for the other one, Breaking Bad, but I never really gave it a chance – I need to watch it from the beginning to “get” it. People on Duke City Fix seem to love it. One good thing about [...]

Before I get started: The best line tonight was:
“What happened to him?”
He fell in a ditch.
Then the ditch had a gun. He’s got a bullet in his head.”
So this episode was a Miles centric one – we got to see Miles and his “powers” – taking money from people who are grieving. He had the [...]

In researching the TV listings for the start of the new Deadliest Catch season, I noticed a show before the premiere on the camera people who film the show. Those outrageous shots of waves breaking over the side of the boat, of ice crusting on the bow and many other recordings [...]

I moved slowly through the house searching for balance. I held my left hand out, trailing my fingers along the wall. I felt weak. I took small shallow breaths as I made my way to my kitchen. I could hear people talking in hushed whispers and bustling about the house, inside and out. In a [...]

I watched the two-hour special that captured highlights from Season 4. It was a trip seeing all those waves again – 45+ foot-waves in stormy seas – ice covering the ships – men on deck sliding around – and the poor greenhorns I always feel [...]

Dead is not dead on the island. We’ve seen a lot of people walking around who died in previous episodes. I knew we were in trouble when Jack saw his Dad, Christian on the island after the crash.
So, tonight we found out:
Ben DID go to kill Penny at the [...]
